Having clean drinking water is a necessity. Uncertified plumbers might not have the skills and equipment to truly guarantee the utmost safety of your water.
On the other hand, when your water is tested and treated by a certified plumber, you can rest easy knowing you are completely risk-free.
Precision’s Plumbing has certified employees who all go through rigorous training, all in an effort to provide you with a service of the highest quality. We ensure thorough testing and treatment of your water.
Quality Testing Services
Some of the most common homeowners’ concerns when it comes to water quality are its pH levels, iron, and hardness. If the pH level is too low, it’s a sign that your water may be contaminated with pollutants. It can damage your home’s pipes and is unsafe to drink. And if the pH level is too high, you’ll start to notice an unpleasant smell or taste.
Iron in your water can be toxic, which is why municipal water is usually overtreated. This creates hardness in your water that can affect your appliances, damage your clothing, cause skin irritations, and more.
Precision’s Plumbing will ensure that your water is neither overtreated nor undertreated. We’ll test your water for pH levels, iron, and hardness, and offer appropriate water treatments.

There is a very wide range of options for filters today ranging from basic cartridge systems that are disposed of and replaced routinely, or low-to-no maintenance options that are changed out less frequently or even simply flushed and reusable. There are a wide variety of filters that can purify your water and keep it safe for consumption.
UV Systems
The UV light system is installed on your main water line, just after the filter, and before any conditioning systems. The water come right in a the main supply, through the filter, and in the UV where the water passes directly through the UV light which removes 99.99% of bacteria present in the water. It then leaves the outlet and is bacteria free. This is the most permanent and effective way to rid your water of bacteria if coliform is or was present in your water lines.
